Pumpkin Patch & Halloween

Well Ms. Reese has been practing her "Ma ma mas" and "Da da das". We have a feeling her first purposeful word will likely be "Puppy". She loves her dogs!! Maya and Reese are especially becoming fast friends...it all started when Reese figured out how to "share" - she delights herself in handing toys to mom and dad. Of course, we respond with an overemphasized "THANK YOU!!!" which makes it that much more amusing for her. Well - we aren't the only ones who will graciously accept her toy offerings. Reese kindly offers Maya her toys and Maya perceives the sharing as permission to play (chew to bits) any toys she is given. Perhaps once Reese is down to her last toy she will think twice before being so generous with her plastic chewing, stuffed animal mutilating friend Maya.
Reese and her buddy Kellen at the Pumpkin Patch. It was a beautiful day to be out and about!
I don't know what it was - but putting blue jeans and shoes on my little girl made me a bit sad. She is growing up so fast!!!

Reese and her cousin Ashton on Halloween

Ms. Pumpkin was not easily amused. She was a trooper for photos and then it was off to bed. Maybe next year she can participate in the trick or treating aspect of Halloween.

Reese has FIVE teeth now! She continues to be a happy kid (with a smidge of attitude once in a while!) She crawls like crazy - especially for mom's vacuum cord! She pulls up on the furniture and is a bit brave about letting go once she finds what she wants. She can stand for maybe 4 seconds and then plops on her bottom only to find something else to pull up on. She loves to clap - and even threw a ball last night (both hands overhead?!). The dogs will be in heaven once she can throw consistently! Mom and dad couldn't be prouder!
