I wish I could say that my blogging hiatus has been due to my preparation for the Christmas holiday - BUT our tree isn't decorated and our Nativity Scene is still in storage.
I wish I could say that working three days a week has left me alphabetizing the bookcase as a last resort for filling my newfound spare time - BUT it is a toss up of whether there are actually more books on the bookcase or on the floor in front of the bookcase (Reese's latest passion is pulling them off).
I wish I could say that Reese sleeping all night for quite sometime now has left me well rested and tossing my undereye concealer in the trash - BUT I still find myself longing to take a nap on a weekday (or two).
I wish I could say that my living room cluttered with toys, my office littered with books and my bedroom overflowing with laundry were really on the "top of my to do list" - BUT some how I mange to get up every morning with the best household intentions only to find myself going to bed with the same list.
So - what do I manage to do get done these days?? Well - for starters there is no such thing as "I". "We" stay busy...

We eat/snack 5 times a day - graham crackers are the latest favorite! Still nursing and hoping to keep it up through her first birthday - I've been cautioned by friends against quitting during the winter flu season. So - she may be nursing at least once a day for a few more months.

We play in/on/around EVERYTHING!! A new carseat box makes for a sweet fort! She loves to army crawl under the coffee table and tries to pull up on the dogs.

We make funny faces and lots of silly noises! I fear Reese doesn't have a chance - the gift of gab is a dominant trait at our house!
We have visitors - we hosted Thanksgiving in our home this year. This is a photo of Reese and her THREE GRANDPAs. What a lucky little girl!
SO the "to do list" saga continues - but we know "Squeal and Scream" much better than "Squeaky and Clean" at this house :)
