The title of this blog pertains to a couple things - my ability to blog these days AND Reese's ability to mobilize. Neither of us get very far very fast - but the motivation is there!
Not crawling yet but certainly able to get to things that mommy and daddy THINK are out of reach!! One day she FINALLY decided to roll from her back to her tummy and the next day she was steamrolling her toypile! She sleeps on her belly now too - always rolls over after we put her to bed.
We introduced the sippy cup at mealtime for practice. Reese seems to enjoy messing around with it - but when she is super hungry she wants the mommy! She continues to be a good eater - there really isn't anything she refuses to eat. Her new interest is getting a death grip on the spoon right before it goes in her mouth and helping out - she must be afraid of the food veering away at the last minute! This video also give a little taste of her "universal scream" - the same scream for happy, sad, tired, excited, and just to hear herself. Lately, she has a lower grunting - almost growling noise that she likes to make. Mom and dad are glad their ringing ears can catch a break!
Reese loves bouncing, babbling, rolling, rocking, dancing, splashing, jumping, twisting, etc.
She is a verb kinda girl!
The unofficial start of fall is here! Temperatures in the 40's! I dug through storage to see what we might find for the fall season - hats are going to be a must until this girl grows some hair! Found this outfit in the closet and couldn't resist - This is the only photo that turned out, the rest were blurry (pretty sure it was my inability to hold the camera steady while laughing!)
