Reese enjoys learning about all the insects, plants and animals! It is unfortunate that her preferred method of exploration continues to be her mouth! The grasshopper BARELY survived - she had him in the death grip and within centimeters of her mouth (and you thought grasshopper eyes bulged before...) I literally ran screaching and Rick intervened just in time - EWWWW!
Reese's first trip to the zoo! The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo has a Zoo Run fund raiser every year - a 5 mile run around the zoo and surrounding neighborhood followed by free admission for the day! Rick (though not usually a running fan) signed up too! Lots of hills in that part of town - I love my Bob Stroller!!
The penquin was making its debut prior to the morning run - Reese was curious and surprisingly gentle. She is really at the clapping and banging her hands on everything stage. Thankfully the penquin was niether clapped nor banged!

Who is taller - Reese or a penquin?? I guess now we know! A family zoo membership for next year is a sure thing!
