Reese had a wonderful time back in Atkinson over Memorial weekend - the 3 1/2 hour drive easily turned into a 5 hour road trip (she made it very clear that we needed to stop for her to eat). She slept most of the time and while awake she was entertained with books - she LOVES books,especially reading along (sort of). Making extra noise for emphasis I suppose?? We just can't get over how much she talks, and talks, and talks, and talks (surely she get that from her FATHER!)
There were no signs nor symptoms of "stranger danger" over the long weekend. I was dreading her being in an unfamiliar place with lots of new people - but she did great! She slept ok and gave plenty of smiles to everyone! We have been blessed with a very happy baby - quite content to just lay on the floor and play with toys hanging over head. Her latest milestones - reaching and grasping toys and bringing them to her mouth, and rolling from her tummy to her back. The rolling thing has only happened a few times....tummy time is still not her favorite.
